Day 2

Well today started really well, the breakfast at the hotel was great and the crossing from Newhaven was perfect, weather was lovely and the sea was dead clam. Didnt help Tyrone as he felt the best way to beat seasickness was to sleep the whole trip!! The bike ride was all going well till we got lost in Forges Les Eaux and managed to add an extra 5 miles on the trip, Glens expert map reading to thank there!! It was about at this point that my legs gave in too, very very close to getting in the van, but a mixture of Glen laughing at me and Jakes support I STRUGGLED on to our lovely hotel with a brown bathroom, nice!!!!
Next stop paris, post again when we arrive!!

The morning after!!

Day 1

Well thats day 1 done and its got to be said it hurt like hell!! Did ok till we
passed the M25 at Godstone and hit wall, seemed to be one hill after another! But hay, we made it, all 4 of us getting to the hotel at about 16.45. Going to try and get some pics posted on here tomorrow while we are on the ferry, set sail at 09.30. Thanks for all the support at the garage this morning, it means alot to all of us!!
